Responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals including Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives. Will oversee and drive the sales process.


  • Monitors sales staff performance of selling products to existing and potential clients
  • Sets sales targets for team and individual staff members
  • Collaborates with management to establish sales goals, implements and regularly reviews
  • Ensures field sales team meets established sales objectives
  • Establishes techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Holds regular team meetings to share expectations, ideas, and best practices
  • Often takes part in business meetings or calls
  • Participate in recruitment and expanding the sales team into open territories
  • Leads job training/coaching/development for all sales representatives
  • Ensures customer loyalty and satisfaction by quickly resolving customer issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed


  • Requires completion of a Bachelor's degree and/or knowledge typically gained through attainment of a 4-year degree
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales.
  • Proven track record of field sales experience and managing a team of employees
  • Ability to develop market research protocols
  • Must possess excellent leadership and coaching skills


  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Able to travel as needed
